Dear Mr. Martin:

Subject:

NUCLEAR PROJECT N0. 3 READINESS REVIEV SCHEDULES

Reference:

Letter, G03-86-234, dated April 22, 1986, same subject.

Attached are the most current six-month rolling schedules for the Construction Assurance and Engineering Assurance portions of the WNP-3 Readiness Review Prog ram.

Subsequent to our previous transmittal in April, adoption of a reduced WNP-3 budget has necessitated a stretch-out of the Engineering Assurance portion of the Readiness Review to accommodate the resulting resource limitations.

Discussions with NRC Headquarters I&E have concluded that such a stretch-out will not adversely affect their participation.

If you have any questions, please contact Jack Garvin at (509) 372-5850.

Very truly your,s,

/
