HRC FOLLOWUP DN TRANSPORTATION ACCIDENT NEAR ROCK SPRINGS, WYOMING (PNO-IV-84-07)
On May 29, 1984, a r(egion IV health physicist responded to the accident site, located about 30 miles east of Rock Springs, Wyoraing, on Ini.erstate Highway 80.
The shipping containers were found to be intact with no detectable leakage.
The 00T-7A containers were off loaded to another trailer and carried to Rock Springs for transfer to another transport vehicle. Contamination surveys of containers anti the wrecked trailer indicated no detectable contamination. The site was surveyed and released for public use at about 10:00 p.m. on May 29, 1984. . 3 News media personnel did not respond to the site and coverageyas riDt observed locally. , _. K "
