LaSalle County Station Units 1 and 2 operational Fog and Ice Observation Program (NRC Docket No's. 50-373 and 50-374)

Dear Mr. Jordan:

This is a summary of the fourth quarter data for 1985 of the operational fog and rime ice observations in the vicinity of the cooling pond. This is in accordance with the Environmental Protection Plan.

Appendix B. Section 4.2.2 which is part of the operating license for LaSalle County Station Units 1 and 2. ,,

During the fourth quarter of 1985, there were no days out of 57 observation days where the visibility was restricted to less than 1/4 mile.

There were no occurrences of rime ice during the period. Daily observations were not made on the dates of October 1, 2, 3 and 4 due to inspector illness.
