Revision to implementation dates for SRV removal at LaSalle County Station Unit 1

LaSalle County Nuclear Power Station Units 1 and 2 Request for Technical Specification Amendment l
Safety / Relief Valve Permanent Removal, dated December 2,1996 in the reference License Amendment Request, Comed st&ted that the proposed implementation date for Unit 1 would be prior to startup for L1C9.
However, Comed is considering postponement of the implementation of the SRV removal modification for Unit 1 until the refueling outage following L1C9. Therefore, we request changing the implementation date for Unit 1 to be prior to startup for L1010. This will allow the best allocation of resources to implement the Unit 1 amendment prior to startup for either L1C9 or L1C10. Unit 2 willimplement this modification in accordance with our initial request, and will remain prior to startup for L2C9.
