Dear Sir' Generic Letter 89-04 (Generic Letter) was issued to provide guidance to licensees on frequently identified weaknesses of Inservice Testing (IST)
Programs.
LaSalle County Station, which was not identified on Tables "1" or "2" of the Generic Letter, was requested to 1) submit a confirmation letter to indicate conformance with the guidance / positions of the Generic. Letter, and 2) submit any IST Program changes as a result of the guidance / positions of the Generic Letter.
Refe rence (b) presented Commonwealth Edison Company's (CECO) response for LaSalle County Station, and References'(c) and (d)' submitted Revision 2 of the station's IST Program.
For LaSalle County Station, Reference (e) requested a projected implementation date of the IST Program and equipment modifications needed as a result of the Generic Letter, and to l
inform the Commission (in writing) when the actions have been completed and l
the program is determined to be implemented. Additionally, CECO was requested l
to inform the Commission-(in writing) of any significant changes to-the l
estimated completion schedule for LaSalle County Station. This letter provides CECO's response to those requests.

I LaSalle County Station has implemented Revision 2 of the IST Program submitted by References (c) and (d). This revision (Revision 2) of the IST l'
Program was based on the guidance / positions presented in.the Generic Letter.
The procedure revisions associated with Revision 2 of the IST Program were completed by February 28, 1990, which is consistent with the schedule presented in References (b) and (c). No equipment modifications were required as a result of the Generic Letter. The actions requested of LaSalle County Station by the Generic Letter have been completed.
