McGuire Nuclear Station Docket Numbers 50-369 and -370 Catawba Nuclear Station Docket Numbers 50-413 and -414 Proposed Technical Specification Revision; Changes to Core Operating Limit Methodology List Pursuant to 10 CFR50.90, attached are proposed revisions to Technical Specification 6.9.1.9, which will reference updated or, recently aoproved methodologies used to calculate cycle-specific limits contained in the Core Operating Limits Report (COLR). All of the new references have been reviewed and approved by the NRC staff; therefore, these changes are considered administrative in nature.

Attachment I contains the marked up changes to Technical Specifications, including: Attachment I.A, markups to Current Technical Specifications (CTS); Attachment I.B, amended Improved s

Technical Specification (ITS) submittal pages for McGuire and Attachment I.C, amended ITS submittal pages for Catawba, as contained in Duke's May 27, 1997 ITS submittal. )

Attachment II //

contains new original pages. Attachment III contains the justification to support the changes. Attachment IV provides an //f analysis which supports a finding of No Significant Hazards, and Attachment V provides an environmental assessment.
