Subject:

LaSalle County Station Radiological Environmental Monitoring Program, NRC Dockets 50-373 and 50-374

Dear Mr. Keppler,

In accordance with recoranendations from a previous NRC audit conducted at our general office, we are reducing LaSalle County Station's environmental monitoring program to reflect it's operational phase. LaSalle County Station has been in operation for over a year and analysis has shown that none of the environmental samples contained radioactivity attributable to the statior.'s operation.

The revised program was submitted to you on December 9, 1985 as part of the LaSalle offsite Dose Calculation Manual, Sections 7.2 and 8.0 Revision 11 in the November Monthly Operating Report. This program is to go into effect April 1, 1986.

Please find attached the revised Radiological Environmental Monitoring Program for LaSalle County Station.

If you have any questions concerning this change, please feel free to call.

Sincerely, b h I Greg A exander Nuclear Licensing Administrator Enclosure cc: L. D. Butterfield L. Aldrich G. J. Diederich K. Klotz J. C. Golden C. Bennett W. Brenner D. Kenealy EPG-00-AG-NRCA EPG-01-RE-Radal GLA/DMK/Imk/6306E/62
