RESPONSE

1) Possibly, based on consideration of additional information.

If the decision were made to participate in the ISAP 11 program.

SERI's participation would likely be in association with performing the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station's IPE, This is expected to begin in early 1989.

QUESTION

2) Do you believe that an industry /NRC seminar consisting of a brief i discussion by NRC followed by a question and answer period would be

' beneficial prior to making a decision?

RESPONSE

2) Yes. A question / answer session would be especially beneficial to both the Industry and NRC. It would be very helpful to openly discuss with other utilities and the NRC both the positive and negative aspects of participating in the ISAP 11 program.
