DOCKET NOS.: 50-250 AND 50-251 This acknowledges the receipt of your letter of July 15, 1985, which transmitted Revision 2 to the Turkey Point Safeguards Contingency Plan.

Our review of the changes has found portions of the changes to be consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p). One change is not consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p). In this revision, you have deleted reference to the desired for operations (DF0) areas. This matter, as submitted in your revision 9 to the Turkey Point Physical Security Plan, is still under review by the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR). Until the matter is settled, to preclude a violation of regulatory requirements, please revert to the commitment in your previously approved plan until notified by NRR of their findings.

The enclosure to your letter is being withheld from public disclosure because it contains Safeguards Information and must be protected in accordance with the '

provisions of 10 CFR Part 73.21.

Should you have any questions concerning this letter, we will be glad to discuss them with you.
