The Turkey Point Fitness for Duty Program uses a random testing rate of at least 50%.

Attachment A contains the program performance data. Also attached is a list of events reported and a summary of management actions taken.

On November 23, 1998 it was determined that a contract supervisor from the Land Utilization section had tested positive for cocaine, based on a random urinalysis test. A work review was conducted and it was determined that the individual performed no Safety Related activities.

One for-cause test was conducted on a contractor individual who was having a physical while going through the badging process when the smell of alcohol was detected. An Intoxilyzer test was conducted and the results were positive for alcohol

.053 and .050. Access was denied.

One of the positive Marijuana drug test results was below the DHHS/NRC cutoff level of 15 NG/ML THC on the GC/MS. The level was 10 NG/ML THC on the GC/MS. Our cutoff level for Marijuana is 10NG/ML THC on the GC/MS.

Our percentage of population tested from January 1, 1998 to December 31,1998 was 51.73%.
