SUBJECT:

Semi-annual jf'"t T,ceurt.

Dear Mr. Wagner:

Per our telephone conversation on August 16, 1983, it is our understanding that you do not wish to receive meteorological data collected during gas waste releases as part of the Semi-annual Effluent Report submitted per 10CFR50.36a(a)(2). It is also our understanding that the meteorological data should be retained for 5 years at the site. The proposed Fort St. Vrain RETS will reflect these understandings. Furture submittals to the NRC per 10CFR50.36a(a)(2) will include 1.0 (Summary) and Tables 1.1, 1.3, 2.1, 3.1, and 4.1. The remainder of the tables will be kept at Fort St. Vrain and be available for review by the NRC.

j If our understandings on this matter are not congruent with your

anticipations, please contact me at (303) 571-7436. Thank you for your interest in this matter.

's'ery truly yours, dl4tdL Sk Frederick J. Borst t
