Dear Mr. Kans:

DOE-ID submitted via Reference 1 the proposed Physical Protection Plan (PPP) for the FSV ISFSI pursuant to the recently promulgated 10 CFR 73.51 rule for ISFSis. After a review of the l

plan by NRC security personnel, a comment on the proposed plan was transmitted to DOE ID l

concerning the addition of intrusion detection on the FSV ISFSI intake vents. Enclosed is a proposed change to the FSV ISFSI PPP in which a commitment is made to provide this feature to our security posture for the facility.
