Dear Mr. Weiss:
In Reference 1) the Public Service Company of Colorado (PSC) submitted a proposed Technical Specification amendment which would allow PSC to complete the defueling of Fort St. Vrain (FSV). On July e
30, 1990, Mr. Peter Erickson of the NRC requested that PSC submit additional information on the use of the GAUGE code for reactor physics calculations. The additional information is required to allow the NRC to complete their review of the Technical Specification amendment proposed in Reference 1).
3 Attached for your information are the following FSV core performance reports which compare GAUGE code calculations to actual reactor performance:
