SUPPLY SYSTEM NUCLEAR PROJECT N0. 2 DOCKET N0. 50-397, CPPR-93 NRC IE BULLETIN N0. 81-02, FAILURE OF GATE TYPE VALVES TO CLOSE AGAINST HIGH DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE In accordance wita the subject bulletin a review has been made of all motor-operated gate valves, which are required to operate against hbh differential pressure in the WNP-2 safety related system. The review involved the study of system flow diageans, valve lists and appropriate supplier drawings.
The determination made from the review'is that none of the Westinghouse Electro-Mechanical Division or Borg-Warner Nuclear Valve Division valves, indicated in the bulletin, were obtained for installation or as spares for WNP-2.
Attached, as requested, is an estimate of the manhours by Owner and A/E personnel in conducting the review.
