Dear Mr. Parrish:

This letter acknowledges receipt of your "GO2-99-073, Forwards Rev 39 to WNP-2 Physical Security Plan,Per 10CFR50.54(p).Changes Do Not Decrease Effectiveness of Approved Plan.Encl Withheld IAW 10CFR73.21 & [[CFR" contains a listed "[" character as part of the property label and has therefore been classified as invalid..790|letter dated April 19,1999]], which transmitted changes to the physical security plan for the Washington Nuclear Plant-2.

Based on your determination that the changes do not decrease the effectiveness of your security plan and after limited review of the changes, no NRC approval is required in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p). Implementation of these changes will be subject to inspection to confirm that the changes have not decreased the effectiveness of your security plan.

The enclosure (s) to your letter contain safeguards information of a type specified in 10 CFR 73.21 and will be withheld from public disclosure.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter, without the enclosure (s), will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
