The purpose of this letter is to advise. you that effective June 1, 1990, Nr. A. Lee Oxsen has been appointed to the position of Deputy Managing Director at Washington Public Power Supply System. In this position, Nr.

Oxsen replaces Mr. J.

h W. Shannon who will retire effective July 27, 1990.

For tHe past three years, Nr. Oxsen has been the Assistant Managing Director for Operations responsible for all aspects of operations and operational support for WNP-2. Prior to joining the Supply System he was Vice President of Nuclear Operations at the Boston Edison Company and spent more than 25 years with the General Electric Company. Nr. Oxsen will continue as the Acting Assistant Managing Director for Operations until a replacement is named. At such time, we will advise you of his replacement in this capacity.
