Letter, No. G02-90-061 The Supply System requests the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's review and approval of Topical Report WPPSS-FTS-129, Rev.
0, "BWR Transient Analysis Model".
This report contains the description and qualification of a
BWR transient analysis model based on RETRAN-02 computer code.
The Supply System intends to use this model for core reload analysis and plant operational support.
As mentioned in the referenced letter, the Supply System's reload methodology is described in a series of three reports:
1)
"Qualification of Core Physics methods for BWR Design and Analysis" (submitted on March 29, 1990) 2)
"BWR Transient Analysis" (submitted by this letter) 3)
"Applications of Steady State and Transient Analysis to Reload Licensing Evaluation" (to be submitted in January 1991)
