Dear Mr. Kuzmycz:
I was recently requested by Mr. F. Liederbach of the NRC Quality Assurance Branch to document the implemen*ation of the Quality Assurance program on Fire Protection at fort St. Vrain, general Fire Protection QA program was initiated in 1975 as part of PSC's commitment to the NRC for the interim and permanent fire protection systems. This was presented to Mr. R.
P. Denise as part of correspondence P-75024 dated December 5, 1975.
The Quality Assurance program commitment for Section 3.3 of Branch Technical Position 9.5-1 on Fire Protection was committed to Mr. William Gammill in letter P-78167 dated October 13, 1978.
This program was defined in a Quality Assurance Plan approved and
. issued in mid-1979 and generally utilizes the same guidelines and rules of our existing QA program covering quality related systems and controls at Fort St. Vrain.
