Pursuant to the Atcmic Energy Act of 1954, as axended (the Act), and the regulations in Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 50, "Licensire of Producticn and Utilization Facilities," Part 51, " Licensing and Regulatory Policy and Procedures for Environmental Protection," and Part 2, " Rules of Practice,"

notice is hereby given that an evidentiary hearing will be held before an Ato:nic Safety and Licensing Board (Ecard) to consid.

an Order for Modification of License in connecticn with Facility License No. NPF-1, which authorizes operation of the Trojan Nuclear Plant (the facility) located in Painier, Oregon, by the licensee Portland General Electric Cocpany, the City of Eugene, Oregon and Pacific Pcreer and Light Conpany.

The scope of the Phase II evidentiary heardrg, in accordance with the notice of opportunity for hearirs issued May 26,1978 (43 FR 23768), is limited to the folicwirg issue:

. Tne evidentiary hearing will comence on March 31, 1980 at 9:00 a.m., local time, at the Court of Appeals Courtrocxn (2nd Floor), the Pioneer Courthouse, 555 S.W. Yatill Street, Portland, Oregon, and will continue to and including April 5 if necessary.

If the evidentiary hearing is not cc=pleted by that date, it will rest c cn April 16, 1980 at the Bonneville Power Administration Auditoriu:n, located at 1002 Northeast F.olladay Street, Portland, Oregen, at 9:00 a.m., local time.

Any person no wishes to take an oral or written statement in this proceeding but co had not filed a petitica for leave to intervene ray request perrissica to rake a limited appearance pursuant to the provisicas of 10 CFR 52.715 of the Ccrrission's Rules of Practice. Limited appearances will be permitted in this proceeding at the discretion of the Board, within such lirits and on rxh condi-ticas as cay be deterrdned by the Board.

Persons desiring to rake a lirited appearance are requested to inform the Secretary of the Cccrission, United states Nuclear Regulatory Connissicn, Washington, D. C.
