Phase II of this proceeding involves a consideration of whether the scope and timeliness of the proposed modifications to the Control Build-ing of the Trojan facility, required to bring the facility into substan-tial coc:pliance with the license, are adequate frcxn a safety standpoint.

Please take Notice that a pareknring conference will be held in this proceeding on March 29-30, 1979 ccm mncing at 9:00 a.m., local time, in the Main Auditoriun of the Bonneville Power Adninistration Euilding located at 1002 N.E. Holladay Street, Portland, Oregon 97205.

Utis prehearing conference will consider:

(1) the contentions filed by the Intervenors and the responses thereto; (2) the duration and extent of any remining discovery; (3) schew ng catters, including dates for filing motions for smm7 disposition, if any, dates for filing written direct testineny and exhibits, and the date of crmmnce-ment of the evidentiary hearing; (4) the status of the Staff's review of PGE-1020 and the Staff's Safety Evaluadca of the proposed modifica-tions; and (5) any additicnal procedural matters raised by the parties.

v 7003220 305 If time pecits, the Licensing Board will also hear scne limited appearance statements from those persons who have made written requests for limited appearances, and who have not been previously heard in this proceeding. Such Hmited appearance statements may be rade, if the Board's schedule pemits, at 1:30 p.m. on March 30, 1979 at the.Bonneville Power Administration Main Auditoriun described above.
