[External_Sender] Comments RE: Docket ID NRC-2018-0101 (License Renewal for FPL's Turkey Point)

Dear NRC Staff,

Dears sirs,

What are the safety conditions for a nuclear plant considering the situation happened in Fukushima. How can you protect the population and the nature from a nuclear disaster. Remember that Fukushima was fulfilling with with all the safety regulations but they never expected waves of 128 feet of height. OF WHAT SIZE IS THE PROTECTING MEASURES FROM TSUNAMIS OR EARTHQUAKES. In Fukushima after the Tsunami, they lost the connection to the grid and the radiators blew up because they couldn't cool down the nuclear core. The company had no resources to attend the immense costs, and the manufacturer behind either. The effects of the radiation is still affecting animal, plants and people who were exposed to them. All the food chain is been affected, and the future effects are difficult to measure.

Nuclear power plants are dangerous, and are also target of international terrorism.

The construction of nuclear power plants has frequently got complicated, delayed, overcosts, and getting additional monetary support from the Government.

There is no public interest in keeping the nuclear generation considering other available resources with less damage.

Nowadays Gas Combined Cycles can achieve similar power generation capacity than a nuclear plant, and with less risk.

Sincerely, Ignacio Tejedor 7530 SW 56th Ct Miami, FL 33143-5607
