Letter, G02-89-136, GD Bouchey to NRC, same subject, dated August 13, 1989 In the reference we stated that Supply System Corporate Nuclear Safety Review Board (CNSRB) review and approval of the subject Technical Specification change request would be confirmed by August 14, 1989.
This letter is to inform you that this CNSRB review and approval has been accom-plished.
The reference stated that a 100 Ampere fuse would be used to replace MCC BB-A.
After additional Engineering review, the fuse size has been changed from 100 to 90 Ampere. This is to provide additional margin in the protection of the containment penetration. The 90 Ampere fuse will still provide the required coordination with the downstream MCC feeder fuses and has been verified to be sufficiently large to carry all the required loads on the MCC.
