ATTACHMENT 2 Item II.F.1.2.B Accident Monitoring Iodine/Particulate Sampling As previously indicated, the Supply System has installed what we consider to be an adequate sample system. On that basis, the Supply System considers tHe implementation of this item to be complete. As discussed in our letter, G.C.

Sorensen (SS) to J.B. Martin (NRC RV), G02-87-0284, "Position on Iodine Plate-Out", dated December 14, 1987 the Supply System had agreed to fund a plant specific study in the spring of 1989 to further quantify and aid in evaluating the WNP-2 effluent sampling system. This study, to be conducted by SAIC, is scheduled for the 1989 outage commencing in May 1989. It is antici-pated that testing, evaluation of data, and a final report should be completed within six months following the completion of the 1989 outage. At that time, given favorable results the Supply System expects to be able to provide the results of the study and justification for closing this issue.
