SUMMARY

OF MEETING CONCERNING CALLAWAY PLANT STEAM GENERATOR REPLACEMENT

Dear Mr. Naslund:

This refers to our meeting conducted at the NRC Region IV office in Arlington, Texas, on January 6,2005. At this meeting, NRC and Ameren UE management discussed various topics, including the Steam Generator replacement project, reactor vessel and reactor coolant system piping inspection plans, corrective actions related to a Notice of Unusual Event classification, and actions related to a site-wide culture survey.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosures will be available electronicallyfor public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRCs document system (ADAMS).
