NUCLEAR PROJECT NO. 2 RESPONSE TO IE BULLETIN N0. 82-01, REVISION 1, SUPPLEMENT 1 A review of all ITT Grinnell supplied materials has been performed to determine if IE Bulletin 82-01, Revision 1, Supplement 1 is applicable to materials and work at WNP-2.
The mechanical contractor (Contract 215) utilized material supplied by ITT Grinnell which was shop fabricated subassemblies with pipe wall thickness greater than ',/2 inch. Wall thickness greater than 1/2" is outside the scope of the subject IE Bulletin. The other applicable site contractors (Cmtract 213, Contract 216, Contract 220, and Contract 240) did not procure fabrications from ITT Grinnell; although they did procure fittings and/or raw materials which do not require radiographs.
Based on the above findings, the WNP-2 Project has determined that IE Bulletin 82-01, Revision 1, Supplement 1, is not applicable to the WNP-2 Project.
