This report is sut'mitted in accordance with the requirements of the Code of Federal Regulations Title 30, Part 50.73(a)(2)(iv). The fa licensee shall report any event or candition that resulted in manual

'Q or automatic actuation of any Enginee ed Safety Feature.

This LER amendment is part of the responss to Notice of Deviation 97104-03 regarding the failure to install o Hot Gas Bypass system in the Train B Control Room lmergency Ventilation System, which was a Corrective Action cited in the original LER.

The following commitments are being made by this letter:

1. Relocate the temperature sensor, which controls compressor operation, to a location where it is less airected by sudden changes in the ambient temperature. /,g'7'l (Completion Pate: 021599). -
2. Evaluate the results of relocating the temperature sensor to assess the effectiveness on excessive compressor cycling, and determine if additional actions are needed.
