(a) E. S. K.ran, Jr., (Comed) letter (SVP-98-029) to USNRC, dated February 2,1998 The purpose of this letter is to inform you of the change of a committed due date contained in Licensee Event Report 254/98-001, reference (a).

In this report, the station made the following commitment:

Logic Test procedures will be revised by 032798 to add and sequence steps such that inadvertent actuations are prevented.

The station is changing the due date of this item to 062698. The completion of the review and revision of Logic Test Procedures cannot be met until this time. This change will allow the station the necessary time to perform appropriate additional reviews of revised procedures before performing the test. Due to work prioritization and back-log tests not required to be completed prior to Unit start-up will be completed afler Unit start-up. All test procedures will be revised and reviewed prior to the procedure being performed.
