SUMMARY

OF VOGTLE READINESS GROUP PUBLIC MEETING ON DECEMBER 2, 2021 The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff held an information meeting with a question-and-answer session on December 2, 2021. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss Vogtle Readiness Group (VRG) activities that support construction at Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP), Units 3 and 4.

The meeting notice can be found in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML21333A243. The meeting notice was also posted on the NRC public website. V. Hall Meeting Summary:

On December 2, 2021, NRC staff held an information meeting with a question-and-answer session to discuss VRG activities to support construction at VEGP, Units 3 and 4. The NRC staff described the licensing actions; inspection activities; and inspections, tests, analyses, and acceptance criteria (ITAAC) closure reviews associated with VEGP, Units 3 and 4. The NRC staff also discussed two white findings associated with cable separation issues (ADAMS Accession No. ML21312A412) and the transition of VEGP, Unit 3 from the construction reactor oversight process to the reactor oversight process. The NRC staffs presentation can be found at ADAMS Accession No. ML21333A217. There were no comments or questions from the public.
