EQUIPMENT QUALIFICATION INSPECTION - SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 and 2 This letter confirms the dates of February 10-14, 1986 for the continuation of the NRC equipment qualification (EQ) inspection of Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, l L Units 1 and 2. These dates were established during a telephone conversation l l on February 4,1986 between Mr. J. Wills of your staff and Mr. G. Hubbard, IE.

This inspection is a continuation of the EQ inspection activities started January 6-17, 1986 and it is expected that the inspection team will return at a later date to complete the inspection. The inspection will include concurrent visits to your corporate offices in Knoxville, Tennessee, and to the plant site in Daisy, Tennessee.

A formal entrance meeting is not scheduled; however, a management inspectior, status meeting is tentatively scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on February 14, 1986

, at the plant site. . Arrangements for members of the inspection team who Will l be visiting the plant site have been made with J. Wills.
