Region II l 26 Federal Plaza l New York, New York 10278

Dear Mr. Petrone:

We are currently revising the NRC Region I Incident Response Plan based, !

in part, on Federal Emergency Response Plan guidance as well as lessons learned from the Federal Field Exerciso held in Florida last year. For planning purposes we need information on Federal Response Center lo- )

cations. If available, we would appreciate a list of the Federal ~

Response Center locations proposed by FEMA Region II for the nuclear power stations identified in the first enclosure to this letter.

In the event of a nuclear power reactor emergency, we will enter one of four response modes. Your Region will be informed by phone upon acti-vation of our Incident Response Center using a pre-formed initial noti-fication message, a copy of which is attached for your information. We understand that 212-264-8980 is manned 24 hours2.777778e-4 days
0.00667 hours
3.968254e-5 weeks
9.132e-6 months
a day for the purpose of receiving emergency notifications. If this phone number is not current, please notify us.

We appreciate your assistance in this matter. If you have any questions, please call Mr. Terry L. Harpster of my staff on FTS 488-1208 or 215-337-5208.
