Dear Mr. Guild:

This is to confirm the telephone conference this morning involving your-self and NRC Staff counsel Stuart A. Treby, Janice E. Moore, and the undersigned. In that conversation, the Staff (in accordance with its representation in its October 17, 1985 letter to you) informed you of the dates when Mr. Isa Yin would be made available for deposition. In this connection, you were advised that Mr. Yin would be available during the periods between October 28 and November 8, 1985, or November 19 and November 26, 1985. The Staff suggested Mr. Yin's deposition be scheduled for Monday, November 4, 1985. The Staff suggested this date to accomo-date your previously expressed desire to depose Mr. Yin relatively early in the process. In view of the fact that depositions are scheduled for other witnesses at the Chicago offices of Applicant's counsel, Isham,- t Lincoln & Beale, during the remainder of the week of November 4-8, 1985, and to accommodate both Intervenor and Applicant, the Staff will accede to a request to have Mr. Yin deposed at the Chicago offices of Isham, Lincoln & Beale. In the event you elect not to depose Mr. Yin on Monday, November 4,1985, please note that the Staff will make Mr. Yin available for deposition at the Region III offices of the NRC in Glen Ellyn, Illinois '

between November 19 and November 26, 1985.
