REVIEW OF REVISION 3L TO PORTIONS OF THE BRAIDWOOD NUCLEAR POWER STATION GENERATING STATIONS EMERGENCY PLAN SITE ANNEX

Dear Mr. Kingsley:

In October 1998, Region ill received Revision 3L to portions of the Braidwood Nuclear Power Station Generating Stations Emergency Plan Site Annex. This revision was submitted under the provisions of 10 CFH 50.54(q).

Based on your determinations that the changes in Revision 3L do not decrease the effectiveness of your Emergency Plan, and that the Plan continues te meet the standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b) and the requirements of Appendix E to Part 50, NRC approvalis not required. Our initial review of these changes will be subject to inspection to confirm that they have not decreased the effectivaness of your Emergency Plan.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
