Report 89-06", dated August 21, 1989 Letter, G02-89-129, GD Bouchey (SS)to NRC"NRC Inspection

Report 89-13", dated July 28, 1989 The purpose of this let'ter is to provide revised scheduled completion

dates for commitments

made in response to Notices of Violation (NOVs)89-06-09 and 89-13-05.The reason for the revised schedule is that completing

the commitments

has taken longer than was originally

anticipated.

In Reference 1), the Supply System committed to a complete review, of its work practices, including any necessary tr aining required. The action was to be completed in two parts. The review was to be done by November 1, 1989 and the formal programmatic

changes were to be accomplished

by January 1, 1990.These two dates have been changed to December 1, 1989 and February 1, 1990, respec-tively.In Reference 2), the Supply System committed to discuss the application

of 10CFR 50.73(a)(2)(v), as it applies to single-train

systems, during Licensed Operator Requalification

Training (Requalification

Cycle 89-06, September 4-October 6, 1989).Although this was presented as part of reportabi lity/compliance

issue training briefings during Requalification

Cycle 89-05 (July 31-September 2, 1989)', lesson plans have since been prepared and it is now anticipated

that the training will be completed by November 30, 1989.Very truly yours, G.C.Sorensen, Manager Regulatory
