Improved BHR Technical Specification",

dated May 5, 1989 In response to the NRC Interim Policy Statement on Technical Specification Improvements the reference submitted NEDC-31681, Improved BHR Technical Specifi-cations ( ITS) for the BWR/4 and BHR/6 product lines. The purpose of this letter is to inform the Staff that the Supply System has commenced a plant specific effort to develop an Improved Technical Specification for WNP-2 utilizing the standards developed by the BHROG. Tentative submittal to the Staff is scheduled for September 1990 with full implementation, including revised surveillance procedures, verification and validation of the surveillance procedures, and appropriate administrative controls a year thereafter.
