This letter acknowledges your letter to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) dated December 14, 2023 (ML23348A253), which provided a response to the Notice of Violation that was issued in NRC Inspection Report 05000382/2023003, dated November 14, 2023 (ML23312A183). This Notice of Violation was issued for a violation of 10 CFR Part 20.1501(c)
for the failure to periodically calibrate 33 area and process radiation monitors.
 
We have reviewed your response and find that it meets the requirements of 10 CFR 2.201. We have no further questions at this time and will review the implementation of your corrective actions during a future inspection to determine whether full compliance has been achieved and maintained.
 
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRCs Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this letter will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRCs Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of the NRCs Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS). ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html (the Public Electronic Reading Room).
