In response to the COVID-19 coronavirus and updated Federal Government guidance on travel and social distancing the meeting was held remotely through the Microsoft Teams application.
On April 21, 2022, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) cond ucted a virtual meeting concerning Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Units 1, 2, 3, and 4. The purpose of the meeting was to provide opportunities for the public to discuss the annu al assessment for the period of January 1, 2021 - December 31, 2021.
The following documents related to the meeting are available in ADAMS: Meeting Notice (ML22110A198), Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Units 1 and 2 Annual Assessment Letter (ML22047A337), and Units 3 and 4 Annual Assessment Letter (ML22054A323).
The meeting was conducted from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM eastern time. There were approximately 47 attendees. In summary, the attendees consisted of representative(s) from the NRC, Southern Nuclear Company, Office of United States Senator John Ossoff, and members of the public. Due to the nature of the meeting, performed in virtual mode, no official list of attendees is included.
Additionally, the meeting was listed in the Public Meeting Feedback System (PMFS) under Meeting Code (20220330) and upon submittal of this memo there were no public responses to the meeting.
