NUCLEAR PLANT NO. 2, LICENSE NO. NPF-21 NRC INSPECTION REPORTS 89-06 AND 89-17 ADDITIONAL RESPONSE TO NOTICES OF VIOLATION

1) Letter, G02-89-202, GD Bouchey (SS) to NRC nNRC Inspection Reports 89-06 and 89-13", dated October 31, 1989

2) 'Letter, G02-89-147, GD Bouchey (SS) to NRC "NRC Inspec'tion Report 89-17", dated August 29, 1989 The purpose of this letter is to provide revised scheduled completion dates for commitments made in response to Notices of Violation (NOVs) 89-06 and 89-17. The reason for the revised schedule is that completing the commitments has taken longer than was originally anticipated.

In Reference 1), the Supply System provided a revised schedule for the complete review of work practices, including any necessary changes required. In the letter it was stated that formal changes to the process would be accomplished by February 1, 1990. Although the changes to Plant Procedure (PPM) 1.3.7, "Maintenance Work Request", have been made, this procedure will not be implemented until after the upcoming maintenance and refueling outage, which is currently scheduled from April 20, 1990 to June 3, 1990. Accordingly, it is now anticipated that the procedure will be implemented by August 1, 1990.
