SUMMARY

OF THE JULY 30, 2020, PUBLIC WEBINAR TO DISCUSS THE NRC 2019 END-OF-CYCLE PLANT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF THE DUANE ARNOLD ENERGY CENTER AND THE POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT On July 30, 2020, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (CDT), a public webinar was held by representatives of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to provide the public with information on the 2019 End-of-Cycle plant performance assessment of the Duane Arnold Energy Center and the Point Beach Nuclear Plant, along with general information on the NRC.

There were three members of the public in attendance, along with one state government official, and eleven licensee personnel, listed in the attached enclosure.

The NRC discussed their assessment of the Duane Arnold Energy Center and the Point Beach Nuclear Plant, as documented in the March 3, 2020, End-of-Cycle Assessment Letters (ADAMS Accession Numbers ML20062G267 and ML20062H688) during the webinar. Representatives from the NRC made links to these letters, inspection reports, fact sheets and brochures, and other public documents available to those in attendance.
