SUMMARY

OF THE APRIL 3, 2019 PUBLIC OUTREACH/OPEN HOUSE TO DISCUSS THE NRC 2018 END-OF-CYCLE PLANT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT OF POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 On April 3, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. CDT, a public outreach/open house was held by representatives of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to provide the public with information on the 2018 End-of-Cycle plant performance assessment of the Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, and with general information about the NRC. The open house was held at the Lester Public Library, 1001 Adams Street, Two Rivers, Wisconsin. The NRC representatives discussed plant performance with members of the public who were in attendance. Representatives from NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC were also present at the event.

The NRC discussed their assessment of Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Unit 1 and 2 performance during this event. The assessment information was documented in the March 4, 2019, End-of-Cycle Assessment Letter (ADAMS Accession Number ML19063B431). Representatives from the NRC made copies of the above letter and other posters and fact sheets available to the public in attendance. Throughout the open house, members of the public were also given the opportunity to ask questions of NextEra Energy officials.
