NOTE An operating unit should have at l 1 east one unloaded ccmpressor BEFORE cross-tying air systers.

h. UNLOCK and OPEN Unit I and Unit 2 Cross-tie Valve, SA-V7.
1. IF opening the service air cross-tie adversely affe:ts an operating unit. THEN CLOSE and LOCK CLOSED SA-V7
j. TRIP affected unit's air compressors.
k. PLACE all MSIV switches to "CLOSE."
1. TRIP SJAE, SPE, and rechanical vacuum pumps.
m. OPEN condenser vacuum breakers (OC-VB-1 and 2).
3. IF the TBCCW pumps have lost electrical power OR will not start,

, THEN CONTINUE in Section 1 on page 5 of this procedure.

4 IF the TBCCW pumps were running AND the header pressure could NOT be maintained above 42 psig THEN CONTINUE in Section 2 on page 6 of this procedure.

r 9ection 1 - A/C power is NOT available to the TBCCW pumps OR the pumps will NOT start.

~~

1. IF the af fected unit's 4KV bus C OR D is deenergized. THEN PERFORM Ihe "Auxiliary Electrical Power System Recovery Procedure concurrently with this procedure.
2. CHECK pump breakers locally.
3. H2 SET thermal or magnetic trips as required. l
4. NOTIFY Maintenance to begin repatra as necessary.

~~

5. VMEN electrical pow 3r in restored. THEN CONTINUE in Section 3 on page 7 of this procedure. l l

,Section 2 - TBCCW pumps are NOT maintaining the TBCCW header pressure above 42 psig.

~~

1. IF the TBCCW head tank level is low (UA-31-4 OR local). THEN PERFORM the following stepst
a. WALK DOWN system piping to locate leakage.
b. ISOLATE any source of leakage that is found.
c. NOTIFY Maintenance to begin repairs se necessary.

~~

2. VHEN system leakage has been isolated, repaired. OR it has been determined that no leakage exists. THEN PERFORM tee following steps:
a. REST 0kE the TBCCW head tank level to normal (26-38 inches)

~~

b. OPEN and LOCK OPEN the Head Tank TBCCW Supply To Unit 1(2), '

TCC-V1. for the affected unit.

c. CONTINUE in Section 3 on page 7 of this procedure.

,Section 3 - Restoring the TBCCW System

1. START TBCCW pumps as necessary to maintain TBCCW header pressure above 42 psig.
2. IF the TBCCW header pressare is below 42 psig, THEN PERFORM the following steps:

~~

a. MONITOR TBCCW header pressure locally (TCC-PI-556-2) to ensure j validity of the low pressure alarn.
b. VERIFY proper valve alignment and pump coupling integrity  ;

(OP-44).

~~

c. IF TBCCW header pressure CANNOT be restored and maintained above 42 psig, THEN RETURN to Step C on page 3 of this l procedure.
3. START the Instrument and Service Air Systems (OP-46). l
4. START the Condensate /Feedvater System (OP-32).
5. START Reactor Recirculation System (OP-02).
