C. ENTRY CONDITION This procedure is entered from Alternative Safe Shutdown Index ASSD-01,

1. A fire has occurred in an area containing Alternative Safe ,

Shutdown Train A equipment,  !

2. The Shift Foreman has determined that the reactor is to be brought to Cold Shutdown using Alternative Safe Shutdown i Train B.  ;

The purpose of this procedure is to provide supplemental actions to be.- ,

used concurrently with E0Ps and other operations procedures to achieve and R8.1 maintain Cold shutdown coincident with or without a 72 hour8.333333e-4 days <br />0.02 hours <br />1.190476e-4 weeks <br />2.7396e-5 months <br /> loss of off-site power.

D. OPERATOR ACTIONS  ;

1. IF while executing this procedure, the fire is extingui Ehed AND tWe Shift Foreman determines that no action within this' ,

procedure is required, THEN EXIT this procedure, ,

2. OBSERVE the following parameters on instruments indicated while i performing actioris to achieve and maintain cold shutdown.

3. E reactor building entry is required to restore O_R, monitor i equipment, THEN  :  ;
a. DISPATCH the following minimum manpower for performance of this procedure:

% _b. OBTAIN the following keys from the Shift Foreman's Key Locker (1) ASSD Eouipment Cabinet Key #148 (1) ASSD Flashlight Tool Box Key #150

c. OBTAIN Security Access Keys from SAS Security Officer located in the Control Room AND PROCURE the following equipment from the ASSD Equipment Cabinet.

2) Sound powered phones 7 ((2) Twenty-five foot sound powered phone extension cerds (2) Copies of this procedure (4) Remote Shutdown Key:, Serial T112 (2) Security Access Keys
d. USE appropriate figures in this procedure to provide access / egress routes, equipment and communication locations. g g,l
4. _P_ LACE Reactor Water Level "NORMAL / LOCAL" switch,1-821-CS-3345 at the Remote Shutdown Panel, to the "LOCAL" position to make level indicator 1-B21-LI-R604BX operabic.
5. IF RBCCW Heat Exchangers Service Water inled Yalve,1-SW-V106 UNNOT be operated from the RTGB, THEN Manu(lly OPERATE TTQW106.

l 6. IF Vital Header Cross-tie Valve,1-SW-V11B CANNOT be operated l TFom the RTGB, THEN Manually OPERATE 1-SW-VT18,

7. IF operation of RHR Service Water System is required AND RHR Tervice Water Booster Pumps are NOT_ available, THEN itTFTR to OP-43.

8. IF operation of RCIC Steam Supply Inboard Isolation Valve.

a. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the OFF position for Rr,1C Steam Supply Inboard Isolation Valve,1-E51-F007, at MCC IXC comp rtment 054.

' position for RCIC Steam Supply line Isolation VaTve, 1-E51-F007, (ASSD FEED) at.MCC 1XD compartment DY1.

c. IF 1-E51-F007 is required to be Open. THEN PLACE the ESD Keylock Control Switch in the OPEN' position, at MCC 1XD compartment DY1. l i
d. IF 1-E51-F007 is required to be Clusmi, WN PLACE the g MSD Keylock Control Switch in the CLDSE" phstiton, at MCC IXD compartment DY1.
9. IF operation of RCIC Turbine Exhaust Vacuum Breaker Valve, i T~E51-F062 is required AND_ power is NOT available from MCC IXA,  :'

THEN

a. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the OFF i position for RCIC Turbine Exhaust Vacuum Breaker Valve,1-E51-F062, at MCC 1XA compartment DE4  :
b. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the ON  !

position for RCIC Turbine Vacuum Breaker Valve, - [

1-E51-F062, ( ASSD FEED) at MCC 1XD compartment DW2.

c. IF 1-E51-F062 is required to be Open THEN_ PLACE -the ESD Keylock Control Switch in the OPEN_ position, at g 8,j MCC IXD compartment DW2. ,

d. IF 1-E51-F062 is required to be Closed, THE_N_ PLACE the ESD Keylock Control Switch in the CLOSE_ position, at

10. IF operation of Shutdown Cooling Inboard Suction Throttle L W1ve,1-E11-F009 is required AND_ power is NOT available from MCC 1XA, THEN
a. VERIFY OFF OR PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the NT Suction 7Iir%sition for Shutdown at ottle Valve,1-E11-F009, Cooling MCC IXAInboard compartment DH3.
b. PLACE the circuit breaker control switch in the ON position for RHR Suction Isolation Valve, 1-E11-7609,

( ASSD FEED) at MCC IXD compartmet DX5.

c. IF 1-E11-F0D9 is required to be Open, THEN PLACE the Mose/Off/Open ASSD Feed Keylock Switch in the OPEN position, at MCC IXD compartment DX5.
