Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, U.S.C. 522, as ammended, the Nuclear Awareness Network requests the following documents regarding the Wolf Creek Nuclear Power Plant:

1. Any and all Notices of Violations and Deviations, excepting listings on enclosures 1 and 2.

2. Any and all civil penalties.

If any of the material covered by this request has been destroyed and/or removed, please provide all surrounding documentation, including but not limited to a description of the action (s) taken, relevant date(s), and justification (s) for the actions.

In our opinion, it is appropriate in this case for you to waive copying and search charges, pursuant to 5 U.S.C. 552 (a)(4)(A)

"because furnishing the information can be considered as primarily benefiting the general public." The Nuclear Awareness Network is a non-profit organization serving and providing information to the general public.

For any documents or portions that you deny due to a specific FOIA exemption, please provide an index itemizing and describing the documents or portions of documents withheld. The index should provide a detailed justification of your grounds for claiming each exeption, explaining why each exemption is relevant to the document or portion of the document withheld. This index is required under Vaughn v. Rosen (I), 484 F.2d 820 (D.C.Cir.

1973), cert. denied, 415 U.S. 977 (1974).
