Dear Mr. Dircks,
t This is an appeal pursuant to subsection (a)(6) of the

Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) as amended, 5 U.S.C. E 552.
By letter. dated May 1,
1985 the Nuclear Awareness Network (NAN) requested documents relating to:
1.
Any and all information within the Office of Investigation's cares regarding investigations which have occurred within the last year.
Please consider this request to be on going in nature and further that it any investigations are concluded. requires supplementation as concerning the Wolf Creek Nuclear Generating Plant.
We defined the request to include reports, studies, test results, correspondence, memoranda, meeting notes, meeting minutes, work-ing papers, graphs, conversations and interviews, computer records, charts, diagrams, notes and s forms of written communication including internal NRC staff and any other memoranda.
The documents were specifically requested from, but not limited to, the of Analysis and Evaluation of Operational Datafollowing offices of the NRC:
Office (AEOD); Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR); Office of Nuclear Regula-tory Research (Research); Office of Inspection and Enforcement (ILE); Generic Issues Branch of the Division of Safety Tech-nology; Operating Reactors Branches of the Division of Licensing; and the Office of Investigations (OI).
On 7/5/85 I received a letter from the FOIA office (Attachment "A".)
On 8/20/85 I responded with an objection (Attachment "B".)
Since sto date I have received no further response to FOIA 85-327, cohsider this an effective denial I
to the request.
