Special Report 99-001 - Steam Generator Tube Plugging Report Gentlemen:
This letter provides information regarding the number of tubes plugged in each steam generator as required by Wolf Creek Generating Station Technical Specification 4.4.5.5.
This technical specification requires, in part, that i
'the number of tubes plugged in each steam generator be reported to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission within 15 days following the cortpletion of each j
inservice inspection of the steam generator tubes, The inservice inspection of Steam Generators "B" and "C" was completed on i
April 24, 1993
'This inservice inspection resulted in the mechanical plugging of one tube in Steam Generator "B" and five tubes in Steam Generator "C".
Mechanical plugging was necessary because of indications of anti-vibration bar wear found during the inservice inspection.
Steam Generators "A" and "D" were not inspected during this inservice inspection.
Including the tubes plugged during this inservice inspection, the total number of tubes plugged, due to inservice degradation, in each steam generator to date are as follows:
