On December 2, 1982, essentially all Q related construction work on the project ceased pending resolution of recognized quality related problems. Since then, a concerted effort towards developing the Midland Project Construction Completion Plan has been expended. As a result, on October 6, 1983 we received a NRC Board Order to the Midland Construction Permit to complete the project in accordance with the CCP. The schedule for completing the project under this new concept is currently under development and will not be finalized until release of work under the CCP is received sad some experience is gained. Consequently, we request approval to postpone a yellowbook update until a definitive schedule can be developed. A prompt submittal will be made at that time.
