Dear Mr. Wheeler:

We reviewed the Draft Environmental Statement Related to the Operation

! of Seabrook Station (May 1982) in regards to items within the expertise l of the Soil Conservation Service. All items within our area cf expertise are adequately addressed.

We did find the conservative 100-year flood estimate of 10 f t. mean sea level to be consistent with our flood hazard analysis for Hampton. It has a 100-yr. frequency storm elevation of 8 to 9 ft. M.S.L.
