Exerciss Far nt for the June 28-29, 1988, Exercise of the Offsite Padiological Dnergency Preparedness Plans for the Seabrcok Nuclear Power Station Attached is a copy of the IXercise Noort of the June 28-29,1988, joint exercise of the offsite radiolcgical anergency preparedness plans for the Seabrook Nuclear Power Station. Se report dated Septeber 1,1988, was prepared by Region I of the Federal Dnergency Management igency (FDdA).
As indicated in your memorandan of June 23, 1988, the Nuclear Fegulatory Ccmnission (NRC) agreed that the prc5csed Seabrook exercise objectives as transmitted to you with my mencrandun of June 22, 1988, were suffi-j cient tot 1) denonstrate the cap bilities of the States of New Hepshire and Maine and the thw Hanpshire lankee Offsite Nsponse Organization in a full-participation exercise; ard, 2) constitute a "qualifyirg" exercise under NRC's Nie 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix E, Section IV.F.1.
