- 1. Preliminary indications are that ASME SA-312 Type 304 or 316 manufactured by Youngstown Welding and Engineering before November 15, 1978, may be in use in safety-related systems at the Midland plant. No other velded (without filler metal) pipe has been specified on the Midland project. Bechtel is currently in the process of reviewing all field pipe documentation. This action vill be complete and provided by July 18, 1979
- 2. The requested infomation on the use of the subject pipe in safety related systems vill be provided by July 18, 1979 3 Procedures for the examination and repair of all pipe identified in items 1 and 2 vill be developed.
An interim or final report vill be provided by July 18, 1979 to provide the details of our investigation in the items above.
