Eisenhut Your letter dated January 2,1980, Reference a), forwarded a Confirmatory Order which states, in part, that all applicable Category A requirements of NUREG 0578 must be implemented by January 31, 1980 or the facility must be maintained in a cold shutdown or refueling mode of operation.
Oyster Creek has already completed the majority of the Category A recommenda-tions; and as stated in our previous correspondence on this subject, References b), c), and d), Oyster Creek will implement the remaining items during its annual refueling outage scheduled for January-March 1980. At this point in time, we do not foresee any equipment availability problems; and therefore, it is our intention to complete all applicable Category A items prior to startup at the end of the outage.
