Considering Oyster Creek's redundant isolation condensers, in addition to other existing j
plant features, we believe that the hardened vent is only one option for addressing your concern. We believe an opportunity to discuss our views with t
you, together with other affected isolation condenser plant licensees, is in order. We are advised that a mt.eting, coordinated by the BWR owners Group, has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 24, 1990 at the staff offices in Rockville and we are planning to attend.

due (July 25, 1990), we request a two week extension for submittal of our response to your June 15, 1990 letter with any more appropriate extension period to be decided pending the outcome of the meeting discussion.
